The largest public car park is at The Steep at the entrance to the village from the A39. There is also free coach parking provided here. At the south end of the village there is a small car park at the end of Park Street, useful if you intend to visit the moors. Both car parks charge £5 per day.
There is also a very large car park at Dunster Castle. This is free to use for National Trust members and £4.50 per day for non members.
Free public toilets, including toilets for the disabled and for babies, are available at The Steep Car Park. The toilets are run by Dunster Parish Council and are open 8am - 6pm.
For National Trust visitors there are toilets on Castle Hill near West Street.
