The Stags Head Inn

This 15th Century inn is the oldest drinking establishment in the village and offers a unique historical experience. It’s a perfect choice for reunions and wedding gatherings, quiet cosy dinners by log fires, casual lunches and long lazy afternoons. The dining areas are candlelit all year round. Enjoy the warm summer evenings in our fragrant hidden garden. Our menu includes the best of British classics: Steak and ale pie and mash, Somerset cider chicken, and Specials from distant shores including Coq au vin, lamb lollipops and dauphinoise potatoes, spicy chickpea curry and family favourites like sausage and mash. Sunday roasts served 12pm to 4pm are renowned. Dogs most welcome.
